I want to learn to knit. My mother recently started knitting and a couple of my sister too. I like having things in common so I will try my hand at knitting. They say it's easier than crochet. We'll see. I want to learn how and then teach my daughters.

that's so fun! while we were waiting for addie i taught myself to crochet so that i could make her a baby afghan. i love that hobby! i have thought about trying my hand at knitting too. so far i have not sat down to do it. maybe someday.

Easier than crochet?! I really enjoy crocheting but knitting looks way harder because it require 2 of those needle things. What are they called anyway?
