Curiosity killed the cat...

So Chris was telling me tonight about how the boys had lost privilege for video games tomorrow and Dana was sitting right next to him and asked why.  So Chris starts to tell her that it's not her business. She doesn't seem to understand and I tell her "curiosity killed the cat." She looks at me so horrified. She thought the cat really was dead. I quickly reassured her that the cat was just fine. We then tried to explain what a "phrase of speech" is. She didn't quite get it. She was relieved to see Snowee walk through the room right then.
