We went and saw Dad last night. He looked really good. He has a halo device on that keeps his head immobile. That will allow his neck to heal. The surgery put in titanium plates to stabilize his C6 and C7 vertebrae in his spine. He was in good spirits and enjoyed all the company. He decided last night that he was feeling better and didn't need to have someone with him all night. So he sent Mom to Heather's to sleep and told Kim and Matt to go sleep as well. Today they're letting Dad eat and drink again. And he's sitting in a chair too.
